Galatians 1:11-16
And, brothers, I make known to you the gospel preached by me, that it is not according to man.
And, brothers, I make known to you the gospel preached by me, that it is not according to man.
For you heard my way of life when I was in Judaism, that with surpassing zeal I persecuted the church of God and ravaged it.
And I progressed in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being much more a zealot of the traditions of my ancestors.
But when God was pleased, “He having separated me from my mother’s womb” and having called through His grace, Isa. 49:1
to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,
Matthew 11:27-30
All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him .
Acts 9:1-15
But still breathing threats and murder toward the disciples of the Lord, coming to the high priest,
Saul ( Jesus changes his name later upon conversion to Paul) asked from him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he found any being of the Way, both men and women, having bound them he might bring them to Jerusalem.
But in the going it happened! He drew near to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the heaven shone around him.
And falling on the earth he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute Me?
And he said, Sir, who are you? And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute; it is hard for you to kick against the prods.
Both trembling and being astonished he said, Lord, what do you desire me to do? And the Lord said to him, Rise up and go into the city, and it will be told you what you must do.
But the men traveling with him had been standing speechless, indeed hearing the voice, but seeing no one.
And Saul was lifted up from the earth, but his eyes being opened he saw no one. And leading him by the hand they brought him to Damascus.
And he was three days not seeing, and did not eat or drink.
And there was a certain disciple in Damascus named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias! And he said, Behold, Lord, I am here .
And the Lord said to him, Rising up pass along on the street being called Straight and seek a Tarsian, Saul by name, in the house of Judas. For, behold, he is praying.
And he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in and putting a hand on him, so that he may see again.
And Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how many bad things he did to Your saints in Jerusalem.
And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all the ones calling on Your name.
Acts 9:15
And the Lord said to him, Go, for this one is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel.
Isaiah 43:7
everyone who is called by My name, and I have created him for My glory; I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Comment
John the Baptist was called and converted unto belief of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by God in the womb of Elizabeth according to God’s purpose and for God’s glory. King David and Jeremiah confirm God is the cause of them being woven in the womb and called from the womb for God’s purpose and glory; just as The Apostle Paul
Luke 1:44
For behold, as the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped in exultation.
Psalm 139:13-16
For You have possessed my inward parts; You wove me in the womb of my mother.
I will thank You, for with fearful things I am wonderful; Your works are marvelous, and my soul knows it very well.
My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret; when I was woven in the depths of the earth.
Jeremiah 1:5
I knew you before I formed you in the belly; and before you came out of the womb, I consecrated you. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.
Job 31:15
Did not He who made me in the belly make him? And did not One shape us in the womb?
John 6:37-49
All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out.
For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.
Isaiah 55:11
so shall My word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in what I sent it to do!
Daniel 4:35
And all the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing. And He does according to His will among the army of Heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth. And no one is able to strike His hand or say to Him, What are You doing?
Romans 9:15-24
For He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I will pity.” Ex. 33:19
So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One showing mercy, of God.
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very thing I raised you up, so that I might show forth My power in you, and so that My name might be publicized in all the earth.” Ex. 9:16
So, then, to whom He desires, He shows mercy. And to whom He desires, He hardens.
You will then say to me, Why does He yet find fault? For who has resisted His will?
Yes, rather, O man, who are you answering against God? Shall the thing formed say to the One forming it , Why did You make me like this? Isa. 29:16
Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the one lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor? Jer. 18:6
But if God, desiring to show forth wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,
and that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,
whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations.
As also He says in Hosea, I will call those not My people, My people! And those not beloved, Beloved! Hosea 2:23
“And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them, You are not My people, there they will be called, Sons of the living God.” LXX-Hos. 2:1; MT-Hos. 2:23
2 Corinthians 4:6
Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16
Revelation 4:11
Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.
Romans 11:36
Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
Proverbs 16:4
Jehovah has made all for His purpose, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
