1 Corinthians 2:14

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them , because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.

John 6:36

John 6:6465

But there are some of you who are not believing. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were not believing, and who was the one betraying Him.

And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me except it is given to him from My Father. Romans 4:3-8

John 3:26-27

And they came to and said to him, Teacher, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have witnessed, behold, this one baptizes, and all are coming to Him.

and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.

Comment

According to the scriptures below God never gave them above in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 a new spirit to receive John 3:3-8 the love of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to be saved.

We see in the scriptures below that God must put a new spirit in His promised people in order for His people to come to the knowledge of truth in Jesus Christ and be saved. The Spirit sovereignly generates whom He wills John 3:8

John 1:12-13

But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name Romans 8:9, Matthew 11:25-30, 1 Peter 1:11 2 Corinthians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 4:7

John 1:13

who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

John 3:3-8

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

Do not wonder because I told you, You must receive birth from above.

The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who has received birth from the Spirit.

Comment

Jesus said He would build His church and the Gates of Hades would not prevail against that happening. He promised to save all the Father gives him and all of His promised people will come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jesus Christ’s church is composed of all born again or born from above or generated from above, or generated of God or All the Father gives to Jesus to be saved or His children of promise that He promised to save.

In other words, His people or His Church are all His elect or chosen people taken from every nation, language, tribe and people unconditionally chosen from before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 2:10 and Philippians 1:6 and 2:13 Revelation 5:9 7:9 say We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God before prepared that we should walk in them. He is the One working the willing and the doing in us for His good pleasure and glory. He promises to complete the work He started in us.

Since, Jesus said, He would lose none the Father gives to Him to be raised up in the last day, there are no apostates in His church and His church has NO INSTITUTIONAL NAME.

Comment

The natural man does not receive the things of the spirit. He thinks they are foolishness. The Cross of Christ is foolishness to those perishing.

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned and the natural man has not the spirit dwelling in him in order to discern spiritual things.

Therefore, he does not receive the things of the spirit and thinks they are foolishness.

1 Corinthians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 1:18

John 3:3-8 reveals that no one, natural man, can see and enter the kingdom of God until he receives birth or generation from above.

The natural man is running from the Sovereign God of the Bible . He doesn’t want to give up his delusion of sovereignty or unbiblical delusional concept of free will. Pride is a characteristic of his father the devil. John 8:44 1 John 2:15-16 John 3:19-20 Romans 10:1-4 Proverbs 8:13 Proverbs 16:18 John 8:44 Genesis 3:5 James 4:6 1 Corinthians 4:7

The Sovereignty of God determines to whom the spirit blows to and generates into a new creation; believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The effectual Cross of Jesus Christ for His people and His imputed perfect righteousness for His people are the most important spiritual things and the only conditions that save His people from their sins; received by God given faith.

Every one of God’s promised people taken from every nation, tribe, language and people that receive birth or generation from above, with a new spirit bringing forth a new heart, will believe the Gospel at the God chosen time of regeneration, sometime between conception in the womb and death.

They will believe by God given faith that God promises to save His people from their sins conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ, God incarnate, and His imputed righteousness alone.

His people cannot provide a perfect righteousness and avoid punishment of their sins to satisfy the justice of God.

Through Jesus Christ, His work and person alone, without contribution from those He died on behalf of and lived the perfect life in thought, word and deed, as His people’s substitute, God’s justice is satisfied; making God just, justifier and a savior

2 Thessalonians 2:13

But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth,
