Salvation is conditioned on what Jesus Christ did alone. You aren’t sufficient to satisfy God’s Justice or Righteousness

All fall short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23 You are a dead Duck, if you have sinned once, Galatians 3:10 without a perfect substitute Romans 3:20-26 who is worthy to satisfy God’s perfect justice through providing the payment of your sins through Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood Hebrews 9:22 and His sinless imputed righteousness credited to your account; presented to God. Romans 4:3-8 The only one that qualifies as a satisfactory substitute is Jesus Christ; God incarnate, God with us. Hebrews 10:11-14 John 1:1-3,14,18. Luke 18:13

Jesus Christ, The only mediator between God and Man because He was God and Man. He was without sin in thought, word and deed. God cannot be tempted with evil. 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Timothy 2:5. James 1:13. John 3:34-36

Matthew 1:21-23

And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

And all this happened so that might be fulfilled that spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel” (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14

John 6:37-39

All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out.

For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;

not of works, that not anyone should boast;

Comment– God promises to save His people, Jew and Gentile, from their sins, who are chosen unconditionally from before the creation of the world conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness alone without contribution by any effort or work from the ones He represented in His perfect life lived, death and resurrection. Ephesians 1:4,11 Romans 9:11

John 6:29

Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into Him whom that One sent.

John 10:26

But you do not believe for you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

Comment – Since God works faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ that saves in His Children of Promise Romans 9:8, 11, then Faith is a gift to His promised people. They will all come to the knowledge of the truth sometime between conception and death and demonstrate they are saved. Without belief that Salvation is completely dependent on Christ’s work and person alone, you are still dead in your sins and show you are not yet saved from your sins.

John 6:47

Truly, truly, I say to you, the one believing into Me has everlasting life.

Comment – believing into Him is believing into His atoning shed blood and His imputed perfect righteousness as your only grounds of salvation.

Romans 10:1-4

Brothers, truly my heart’s pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is for it to be saved.

For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge.

For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

For Christ is the end of law for righteousness to everyone that believes

Comment – The Apostle Paul above was praying to God for the salvation of his kinsmen according to the flesh. He was once an unsaved Israelite just like his unsaved kinsmen for whom he was praying. The Apostle was from the tribe of Benjamin. If the apostle Paul was praying to God for their salvation, then, God, must be in control of their salvation. God must regenerate unto belief of the Gospel of Jesus Christ making them a new creation in Christ Jesus conditioned on His work and person alone.

The unsaved Israelites were seeking to establish their own righteousness because they did not know the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. They were attempting to find favor and salvation with God by their own self righteousness Isaiah 64:6 and did not know and submit to the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ; God incarnate. They had not yet received the shining into the heart by God the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6, John 3:3,6,8 2 Corinthians 5:17

Revelation 4:11, 5:9, 7:9

Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

After these things I saw, and behold, a great crowd which no one was able to number them, out of every nation, even tribes and peoples and tongues standing in front of the throne, and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.

Comment

God commands everyone to change their mind, understanding they don’t have and cannot provide a righteousness sufficient to satisfy God’s justice and only through believing that salvation is conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness alone without contribution from those that He represented, do you demonstrate you have been given faith in the most important essential part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that shows evidence of salvation. All the Father gives to Jesus Christ to be saved will believe this and come to the knowledge of truth sometime between conception and death.
