God’s Word Interprets God’s Word

Let’s go to God’s Word to find the answer and not a fortune teller or channeler who are mediums and spirit knowers who peep and mutter. Isaiah 8:19-20

Jesus said in John 18:20

Jesus answered him, I publicly spoke to the world; I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple where the Jews always come together, and I spoke nothing in secret.

John 17:17

Sanctify them in Your truth; Your Word is truth.

Comment– Wasn’t Jesus The Word, being God and with God who became flesh and who walked among us; His creation ? John 1:1-3,14,18

Didn’t Jesus tell the Pharisees you search the scriptures for eternal life and they are they that speak of Me?

John 5:39-40

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

so that the man of God may be perfected, fully furnished for every good work.

Comment – Does it sound like you need hidden or secret knowledge? No

So, why do men and women consult fortune tellers and channelers that peep and mutter. Isaiah 8:-19-20

The scriptures will tell us the answer in

Genesis 2:16-17

And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree in the garden;

but of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.

Genesis 3:1

And the serpent was cunning above every animal of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the woman, Is it true that God has said, You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?

Genesis 3:2

And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden,

Genesis 3:3

but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.

Comment– We have Eve quickly changing God’s word “nor shall you touch it” God didn’t say you can’t touch the fruit. He said you shall not eat of it. There is already a problem and we are just getting started.

Scripture also tells us Adam wasn’t deceived by the Serpent; but succumbed to the voice of His wife. This is so prevalent with unregenerate natural man today.

Somehow the Serpent knew to target the woman and not the man.

1 Timothy 2:24

Genesis 3:4

And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,

Comment – Now, we have the Serpent calling God a liar

Genesis 3:5

for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

Comment– Now, we have the Serpent claiming God is hiding knowledge that He only has and He doesn’t want them to be like God; Knowing good and evil.

That would appear to give man freedom from needing God and give man the delusion of free will to choose good or evil; since he would be like God; knowing.

Man became evil after eating the fruit; Romans 3:10-21 therefore, he knew evil by nature, intimately.

He experienced good while in the protective custody of God; but when outside influences came his true nature was revealed which fell short of the glory of God.

Genesis 3:6

And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

Comment– Now, the woman, rather than trust God’s Word, decided to use her senses and ego boosting desires to reason God’s word away and seek hidden knowledge.

After all, that doesn’t sound like a loving God to plant a tree that could cause death. How many people think like that today? They just can’t handle God being sovereign and the cause and controller of all things according to His purpose and will.

Genesis 3:7

And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed leaves of the fig tree, and made girdles for themselves.

Conclusion– Eve gave her trust and allegiance to the serpent and did not trust God’s Word. She used her senses to rationalize away God’s word. She desired to fulfill her ego boosting desire to be like God and listened to what was packaged as hidden knowledge that God did not want to reveal.

This all of course was a lie. Due to her allegiance to the voice of the Serpent, and Adam’s allegiance to his wife’s voice, God has delivered to natural man the delusion of free will and the desire to seek out hidden knowledge that God supposedly wants to hold back.

Natural fallen man doesn’t trust God’s word and continues to seek out through the occult secret knowledge which is forbidden in Deuteronomy 18 and other scripture because it is part of his prideful, egotistical evil nature that was acquired for Adam’s allegiance to a false god; his father, the devil.

Jesus told us His word is truth and sufficient. There is no reason to seek out Satan and his fallen angels to receive the lie.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15

Did not Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?

It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Hebrews 4:12-13

For the Word of God( is) living, and working effectively, and sharper than every two- edged sword, and piercing as far as (the) division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrows, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of (the) heart;

and there is no creature unrevealed before Him; but all things (are) naked and having been laid open to His eyes, with whom (is) our account.
