John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God. (KJ3)

John 3:6

The (thing) having been generated out of the flesh is flesh, and that having been generated out of the Spirit is spirit. ( KJ3)

John 3:7

Do not wonder because I said to you, You must be generated from above. ( KJ3)

John 3:8

The Spirit breathes where it desires, and you hear His voice, but you do not know from where it comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been generated from the Spirit

John 1:13

who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were generated of God.

Galatians 1:15

But when God was pleased, “He having separated me from my mother’s womb” and having called through His grace, Isa. 49:1( To be called through grace is be generated of God)

Galatians 1:16

to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood, ( To reveal is to be generated of God)

Matthew 16:16-17

And answering, Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven. ( To reveal is generated of God)

Matthew 11:27

All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him . ( to reveal is generated of God)

2 Corinthians 4:6

Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

( To shine into the heart the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ is generated of God)

Philippians 1:6

being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Jesus Christ; ( Beginning and and finishing a good work in you is generated of God)

Philippians 2:13

for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure. ( generated of God – who is working both the willing and doing in you for His good pleasure)

1 John 5:1

Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been generated of God . And everyone loving the (One) generating also loves the (one) having been generated of Him. ( KJ3 or literal translation 1993 Jay Green)

1 John 5:4

Because everything having been generated of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory overcoming the world, our faith.

1 John 5:18

We know that everyone having been generated from God does not sin, but the (one) being generated from God keeps himself, and the evil ( one) does not touch him.

1 John 4:7

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God, and every (one) who loves has been generated from God, and knows God.

1 John 3:9

Everyone having been generated of God does not sin, because His seed abides in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been generated of God

1 Peter 1:23

having been born again ( to be born again is to be generated of God), not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living word of God, and remaining forever.

Roman 2:29

but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God. ( from God is to be generated from God)

Matthew 13:16

But your eyes are blessed because they see; and your ears because they hear.

John 3:3 says except a man be generated from above or in other words generated of God he cannot see the kingdom of God; therefore, to have Blessed eyes that see is to be given eye sight (generated of God) to see the truth of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ that sets His people free who are given the knowledge and belief of the Gospel that

God promises to save His people ( taken from every nation, even tribe, language and people) Matthew 1:21 –23, Revelation 5:9,7:9, Revelation 20:15 Acts 20:28, John 6:37-39 Romans 9:8, 24 Colossians 1:21-29 Hebrews 9 from their sins conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood and imputed ( counted) ( assigned) righteousness of Jesus Christ alone without any contribution from those that Jesus died for; who were chosen unconditionally according to election and purpose from before the foundation of the world; who by the work of God will all come to faith and full knowledge of the truth as a new creation sometime between conception and death and be saved. Ezekiel 36:26 Roman 4:3-8 Romans 8:28-30, Ephesians 1:4,11, Romans 9:11, John 6:29 Ephesians 2:8-10 John 6:37-65, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Luke 1:41( John the Baptist leaped in the womb of Mary upon Mary’s greeting to Elizabeth) 2 Thessalonians 2:13 John 3:3,5,8 Isaiah 53

All of God’s children of Promise Jew and Gentile will know they have no righteousness of their own; a sufficient righteousness to satisfy a Holy God’s righteousness and justice, that only God is good and only by His mercy conditioned on the substitutional work of Jesus Christ’s, God incarnate’s, shed blood and His perfect imputed ( charged to their account) righteousness alone can they be saved; making God just, justifier and a savior. John 6:37 John 1:1-3,14,18, Isaiah 64:6, Romans 3:10-12 Isaiah 45:21 Romans 3:26

The Tax Collector knew Luke 18:9-14

The Thief on the cross knew Luke 23:37-43

The Lady with the Alabaster jar knew Luke 7:36-50

The Apostle Paul knew 1 Timothy 1:15, Acts 9

John the Baptist knew John 1:27 Luke 1:41

These are just a few examples of God giving a change of mind, a new heart, a new spirit with understanding as the Tax Collector perfectly reflected in saying “ God be merciful to me the sinner”

He was looking for mercy from the One who will have mercy on whom He wills conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness alone which is received by God given faith in this Good News of the glory God in the face of Jesus Christ. Belief in this Gospel is the only Gospel that saves. 2 Timothy 2:25 Romans 9;15,18 Acts 4:12 Romans 4:3-8 John 5:24

1 Corinthians 2:14

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them , because they are spiritually discerned.

Comment– The natural man is void of the Holy Spirit unable to understand spiritual things

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God

Romans 3:10-12

according as it has been written, “There is none righteous, not one!”

There is none that understands, there is “not one that seeks after God.

All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!” LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3

Mark 10:18

But Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One, God.

Comment– Only God is good. God is Spirit. John 4:24 The Holy Spirit is God and good. Acts 5:3 Those with the Holy Spirit can please God. Romans 8:9 Natural man, without the spirit, cannot please God because they do not believe into the one whom was sent from God.

In other words, they do not believe in the efficacious and effectual Cross of Jesus Christ as the only basis of salvation and that they have no righteousness of their own. Isaiah 64:6

Jesus wasn’t saying in Mark 10:18 He wasn’t good or God incarnate. He was telling the man He didn’t have any reason to call Him good unless He was God because only God is good.

The natural man is unregenerate and a child of Satan and a descendant of Adam. God must regenerate His people (within the family of natural man) who are dead in sins and trespasses; who are without a regenerate heart unto belief of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The man was unregenerate not knowing the righteousness of God incarnate, Jesus Christ . John 3:3,5,8 Romans 10:1-4

God given and worked faith (John 6:29)that salvation is solely conditioned on the atoning shed blood and perfect imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ alone without any effort or work from those chosen from before the foundation of the world is the fruit of being saved. No natural man is seeking the true biblical God.

All the Father gives to Jesus Christ will be made a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ promised to save and raise up all the Father gives to Him in a fully glorified sinless spiritual body on the last day.

Jesus said the Gates of Hades shall not prevent that from happening.
