Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

because all that which is in the world: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world is passing away, and its lust. But the one doing the will of God abides forever.

1 Corinthians 2:8

which none of the rulers of this age ( this world KJV) has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

Question: Why didn’t God shine into the hearts, of the rulers and all the people that contributed to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God the Son incarnate, the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ?

Answer: God predetermined before creation all the actions of the wicked people that contributed to the crucifixion in order to ensure and secure the salvation of the people He unconditionally chose to save from before the foundation of the world through the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ.

The substitutionary perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ was completed in thought, word and deed for His people. His atoning shed blood, payment for their sins, and His imputed righteous were both charged to their account; making God just, justifier and a savior. Jesus Christ could not fail because He is the God/Man mediator between God and Man. God always fulfills all His promises because He predetermined all things Isaiah 46:10, Isaiah 55:11,Job 23:13

All God’s people will come to the knowledge of the truth sometime between conception and death by God worked and given faith in this Gospel of Grace. Luke 1:41, Luke 18:13, John 6:29

Comment – The Saving knowledge given and revealed by God of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that God promises to save His people from their sins, who were unconditionally chosen from every nation, even tribes, languages and peoples before the foundation of the world, conditioned solely on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood 🩸 and His imputed righteousness alone unto belief by God given and worked faith, is the most important knowledge ever received.

You will know you have no righteousness of your own and only God is good and only by His mercy through Jesus Christ does God become just, justifier and a savior of His promised people.
