God Hardens Whom He Wills

God does everything for His glory and for the good of His people . God made Pharaoh disobey His command to let the Israelites go; so that He could show forth His power, display His wrath and publicize His name in all the earth. God desires to show His people from what He has saved them. All things God works together for the good of His people chosen unconditionally from before the foundation of the world.

In the following verses the scriptures will reveal that there isn’t a will free from God and repentance; apart from God granting the repentance. Jehovah turns the heart wherever He desires. The belief in “free will” was actually the delusion delivered by the serpent in the Garden of Eden when he said Dying you shall not die. You will be like God knowing Good and Evil. God told the truth when He said Dying you shall die and Natural Man became spiritually dead with no desire to seek after The True God and believe the True Gospel of Grace; who has mercy on some and hardens others. Genesis 50:20

And you, you intended evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to make it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive.

God caused the evil that Joseph’s brothers committed against Joseph for the good of His people; to keep them from succumbing to the future famine.

Joseph’s brothers hated Joseph because he was Jacob’s favorite son. They plotted to kill him but Reuben, one of the brothers, intervened. They drew Joseph out of the pit they put him in and sold him to the Ishmaelite’s for twenty pieces of silver.

24 No, my sons, for the report which I am hearing is not good, causing the people of Jehovah to transgress.

25 If a man sins against a man, then God shall judge him. But if a man sins against Jehovah, who shall pray for him? But they did not listen to the voice of their father because Jehovah desired to cause them to die.

And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, Good is the counsel of Hushai the Archite from the counsel of Ahithophel. And Jehovah had ordained to break down the good counsel of Ahithophel, for the sake of bringing the evil of Jehovah to Absalom.

Absalom stole the heart of the men of Israel. King David and his men needed to flee from his son Absalom and his men.

God desired and caused Absalom to follow the bad counsel of Hushai instead of following the good counsel of Ahithophel; so he could bring evil upon Absalom.

2 Chronicles 36:22-23

¶ And in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, in order to accomplish the Word of Jehovah in the mouth of Jeremiah, Jehovah awakened the spirit of Cyrus the king of Persia, and he caused a voice to pass throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

23 So says Cyrus the king of Persia, Jehovah the God of the heavens has given to me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build a house in Jerusalem to Him, that is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May Jehovah his God be with him, and let him go up.

1 Chronicles 5:26

And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, and he exiled them; even the Reubenites; and the Gadites; and the half tribe of Manasseh. And he brought them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the Gozan River, to this day.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

14 But thanks be to God, the One always leading us in triumph in Christ, and the One revealing through us the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place.

15 For we are a sweet smell to God because of Christ in the ones being saved, and in the ones being lost;

16 to the ones, an odor of death unto death, and to the ones, an odor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
