Psalms 14:1-3
He glories in the salvation of Jehovah.
1 ¶ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The foolish one has said in his heart, No God! They acted corruptly; they did abominably in deeds; Not one is doing good.
2 Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there was one considering and seeking God:
3 all have turned aside; together they are corrupt; not one is doing good, not even one
Romans 3:11
There is not one understanding, there is not one seeking God.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to be pleasing to God. For it is necessary for the one drawing near to God to believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder to the ones seeking Him out.
Comment
No one seeks after the True Biblical God according to Psalms 14:1-3 and Romans 3:11; Although, He has no problem creating a false god out of his own imagination and he seeks this false god on his terms usually to establish his own righteousness to gain favor and or salvation with this false god.
He does not know his righteousness is a filthy menstrual cloth and does not know and submit to the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ’s effectual and efficacious work of the cross and His imputed or charged perfect righteousness
Then in Hebrews 11:6 God says He is a rewarder of those seeking Him out
Then in 1 Corinthians 2:14 tells us no one (natural man) seeks after The True Biblical Sovereign Lord of all because he does not receive the things of spirit for they are foolishness to him.
1 Corinthians 2:14
But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the Word of the cross is foolishness to the ones perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God.
The natural man does not seek Him because they do not receive the things of the spirit because they think the things of the spirit are foolishness and they are unable to know the things of the spirit because they are spiritually discerned or understood in order to cause them to come to the true God believing the True Gospel..
Scripture will interpret Scripture in order to resolve the issue between the fact that, no one seeks after The True Biblical Lord and God says He a rewarder of those that seek Him.
The natural man is not able to spiritually discern and because of the lack of spiritual discernment, he thinks The effectual and efficacious Cross of Christ is foolishness; He thinks when Jesus said “ It is finished” just before he gave up the spirit on the cross, it didn’t mean for all whom Christ represented and substituted for in His death and perfect life lived had their salvation ensured and secured until the sinner puts forth some self generated effort or work on his part.
Romans 1:18-32
18 For God’s wrath is revealed from Heaven on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, the ones holding back the truth in unrighteousness,
19 ¶ because the thing known of God is clearly known within them, for God revealed it to them.
20 For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, be- ing understood by the things made, both His eternal power and divinity, for them to be without excuse.
21 Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.
22 Professing to be wise ones, they be- came foolish
23 and changed the glory of the incor- ruptible God into a likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four- footed animals, and creeping things.
24 Therefore, God gave them over to im- purity in the lusts of their hearts, their bod- ies to be dishonored among themselves,
25 who exchanged the truth of God into the lie, and worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to dishonorable passions, for even their females changed the natural use to the use contrary to nature.
27 And likewise, the males also forsaking the natural use of the female burned in their lust toward one another, males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving back within themselves the recompense which is right for their straying away.
28 And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do the things not fitting
29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, iniquity, cov- etousness, malice, being full of envy, mur- der, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent men, arrogant ones, braggarts, devisers of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 without understanding, untrustworthy ones, without affection, implacable ones, unmerciful,
32 who having known the ordinance of God, that the ones practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but also approve the ones practicing them.
How can God reward anyone; when no one seeks Him and no one receives the things of the spirit to cause them to seek Him?
The following scriptures below resolve the 2 scriptures taken by themselves in contrast; that say no one seeks out The True Sovereign Lord and He is a rewarder of those that seek Him.
John 3:27
John answered and said, A man is able to receive nothing if it is not given to him from Heaven.
John 3:3,5,8
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.
Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been generated from the Spirit.
John 6:37-44
37 All who the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not ever,
38 for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
39 And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.
40 And this is the will of the One having sent Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 Therefore the Jews murmured about Him, because He said, I am the Bread coming down out of Heaven.
42 And they said, Is this not Jesus the son of Joseph, of whom we know the father and the mother? How, then, does this One now say, I have come down out of Heaven?
43 Therefore Jesus answered and said to them, Do not murmur with one another.
44 No one is able to come to Me if not the Father, the One having sent Me, draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.
John 6:65
And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me if it is not given to him from My Father.
Romans 9:16
16 So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One having mercy, of God.
Romans 9:18
So, then, to whom He wills, He shows mercy; but to whom He wills, He hardens.
John 3:36
The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying (not submitting to believing into) the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
Believing into the Son is to believe into His work; His Atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness as the only grounds of your salvation and that salvation is an unmerited gift by His work alone without any effort or contribution from those He represented and substituted for in His death and perfect life lived.
The ones he represented are those the Father has given and drawn to Him that He will not lose and raise up in the last day.
They will know their self righteousness is nothing more than a menstrual cloth and that God is the one that shines into the heart the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:9-27 Romans 4::3-8 Philippians 1:6 Philippians 2:13 Ephesians 2:8-10 John 3:27 John 5:24 John 6:37-44 2 Corinthians 4:6 Isaiah 64:6 Luke 18:14 Luke 18:19 Hebrews 9:14 Hebrews 9:11-13 Hebrews 9:28 Hebrews 12:28
1 Corinthians 4:10-15
10 According to God’s grace given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, but another builds on it. But let each one look how he builds on it.
11 ¶ For no one is able to lay another foun- dation beside the one having been laid, which is Jesus, the Christ.
12 And if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw,
13 the work of each one will be revealed; for the Day will make it known, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire will prove the work of each one, what sort it is.
14 If the work of anyone which he built remains, he will receive a reward.
15 If the work of anyone shall be burned down, he shall suffer loss; but he will be saved, but so as through fire.
