God Keeps All His Promises

How can God keep all His Promises? Jehovah is able to fulfill all His promises because He controls all things and all people and fulfills all His desires.

Deuteronomy 32:39

¶ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other God with Me. I kill, and I keep alive. I wound and I heal, and there is no deliverer from My hand.

Isaiah 46:10

declaring the end from the beginning, and from the past those things which have not been done, saying, My counsel shall rise; and, I will do all My desire;

Job 23:13

But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? Yea, His soul desires, and He does it.

Daniel 4:17

The word is by the decree of the watchers, and the command and the affair is of the holy ones, so that the living may know that the Most High is ruling in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He will. And He sets up over it the lowliest of men.

Daniel 4:34-37

34¶And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives for- ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom from generation and generation.

35 And all those living in the earth are counted as nothing. And He does according to His will among the army of Heaven, and among those living in the earth. And no one is able to strike His hand or say to Him, What are You doing?

36 In its moment my reason and the glory of my kingdom returned to me, my majesty, and my brightness returned to me. And my advisers and my nobles sought to me. And I was reestablished in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me.

37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honor the King of Heaven, for all His works are truth, and His ways are justice. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

His people are All that the Father gives to Him that He promised to save out of the family of Satan taken from the world of Jew and Gentile.

In each of the lives of His unconditionally chosen people from before the foundation of the world, there will be a time when they will come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. John 6:37-44 Revelation 7:9 Romans 9:11 Romans 8:28-30 John 8:32 Ephesians 1:4-13 Galatians 1:15-16

Question

How are His people saved and how do they come to the knowledge of the truth?

How can Jesus guarantee His people will be saved and none will be lost when none have a Will to come to Him for salvation? Romans 3:10-12, John 3:20 John 6:37-44, 65 John 10 Matthew 16:16-18 1 Corinthians 2:14

Answer: Since, Jesus Christ was effectually punished by God’s predetermined plan and died for His people, atoning for their sin, God at His chosen time through the gift of His spirit-imputes His perfect righteousness to their account justifying and declaring them righteous; satisfying God’s justice, while at that same time He gives them faith in the Gospel of Christ that saves. The just shall live by faith. Roman’s 1:16-17 Acts 4:27-28 Romans 4:3-8 Romans 3 John 3:3,5,8 John 5:21 John 5:24 Hebrews 9:22 Ephesians 2:8-10 Isaiah 45:21 John 19:30

He gives them a change of mind through a change of heart toward the true God through the spirit unto belief of The Gospel because of the work and person of Jesus Christ. Ezekiel 36:26

Knowledge was not given to the rulers of this world that crucified The Lord Jesus Christ 1 Corinthians 2:8

1 Corinthians 2:8

which none of the rulers of this age has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

2 Corinthians 4:6

Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” the One who shone in our hearts to give the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

Salvation is of The Lord and all the glory is due Him from generation from above in His people to final glorification when He returns and completely changes the corruptible into incorruptibility and does away with sin. Jonah 2:9

God promises to save His people conditioned on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone; without any contributing effort or work from those sinners chosen before the foundation of the world.

This makes God just, justifier and a Savior. For in the Gospel The righteousness of God through Jesus Christ is revealed from faith to faith.

God justifies through the work and person of Jesus Christ declaring His people righteous because Jesus Christ provided the fulfillment of the Law as their vicarious substitute. Jesus could not and did not sin in thought word or deed. The Father gave Him the spirit without measure. John:3:34 2 Corinthians 5:21

His people do not have the ability to fulfill the Law. Their self generated righteousness through their sinful nature can never meet God’s perfect standard and character of righteousness and holiness because they have no righteousness of their own; since only God is Spirit is good and you must have the spirit dwelling in you to do anything pleasing to God which gives you ears to hear and eyes to see to believe the Gospel of Christ.

Adam brought spiritual death to himself and his descendants by not putting God’s Word over and above the Serpent’s lying seductive words by way of listening to the voice of his wife who called God a liar through her actions of following after and believing the Serpent’s seductive lying words. Genesis 3

Jehovah said “ Dying you shall die ’Now God must act on His people by giving them a new heart and new spirit unto belief of the Gospel of Christ which is represented by the phrase “must be generated from above” written in John 3:3,5,8 in order to see and enter the kingdom of God which causes repentance or change of mind and faith towards the true God through Jesus Christ, His work and person. Genesis 2:17

Hebrews 11:6 Romans 5:12 Acts 2:23 Acts 4:27-28

If you do not have the spirit of Christ which believes the Gospel of Christ then all your works in the flesh are trash unto God; leading to death. Luke 18:19 Isaiah 64:6 John 4:24 Romans 8:8-9 Romans 3:23 Romans 7:5 Romans 3:20

Jesus provided the propitiation which removes God’s anger towards His people for their sin against Him because of Christ’s sufficient perfect substitutional sacrificial payment with His atoning shed blood.

He took their punishment for their sin, suffered, an eternally sufficient humiliation and punishment for His people’s sins, on the cross at the hand of God ( God temporarily abandoned Him when He poured out the punishment of the sins of His people on Him, when He said “ My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me”) which effectually redeemed His people, buys them back while adopting them out of the family of Satan; all certain and sure, conditioned on the work and person of Jesus Christ alone without any contribution from those for whom He died. Romans 8:28-30 Romans 3:25-26 Romans 4:3-8 Romans 3:19-28 Romans 1:16-17 John 8:44 Galatians 4:4-5 Matthew 27:46

Psalm 110:3

Your people shall have willingnesses in the day of Your strength; in the majesties of holiness; from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

John 3:3,5,8

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been gen- erated from the Spirit.

Ephesians 5:25-26, Romans 1;16-17 John 3:3,5,8 Ezekiel 36:25-27

Comment

The word “water” in John 3:5 and Ephesians 5:26 might be a metaphor for the cleansing found in the Word of God through the Spirit

The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been generated from the Spirit.

Comment

“The Spirit breathes where it desires” describes God’s sovereign action of breathing on the ones He gives to Jesus Christ for salvation; The one’s Jesus promised to save through His work and person whom He will raise up into incorruptibility on the last day.

John 6:44

No one is able to come to Me if not the Father, the One having sent Me, draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day

Matthew 11:27

All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son ex- cept the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.

John 6:29

Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into
Him whom that One sent.

Answer: Now that God has drawn His people through the gift of the spirit of Christ and given them a new heart, they become a new creation in Christ believing that only in Jehovah do they have righteousness through Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 23:6 2 Corinthians 5:21 1 Corinthians 1:30 Isaiah 45:24

They pass from death to life, putting to death the deeds of the body. They will no longer practice and be characterized by sin.

His people have a new heart and new spirit towards the True God through Jesus Christ. They will love Him because He first loved them through the securing of their salvation through His work and person.

They will keep His commandments; Love God with all of your heart, mind and soul and and your neighbor as yourself. Ezekiel 36:26 Isaiah 45:24 Romans 3:19-27 John 5:24 Matthew 22:37-39 1 John 4:19

Romans 8:13-16

for if you live according to flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you received not a spirit of slavery again to fear, but you received a Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba! Father!

16 The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

17 So then if anyone is in Christ, that one
is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have come to be new!

18 And all things are from God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,

Comment

God promises to work the willing and the doing in us for His good pleasure and He also promises to complete the work He has begun which is consummated at His return when He takes the corruptible and changes it into the incorruptible forever doing away with sin completely. Philippians 1:6, 2:13 1 Corinthians 15:50-58

Philippians 3:20-21

20 For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will transform the body of our humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory, according to the working of Him to be able even to subject all things to Himself.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

13 ¶ But I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, about the ones having fallen asleep, that you not grieve, as the rest also, the ones not having hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, also God will also bring with Him all the ones having fallen asleep through Jesus.

15 For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord will not at all go before the ones having fallen asleep.

16 Because the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with God’s trumpet. And the dead ones in Christ will rise again first.

17 Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

18 So, then, comfort each other with these words.

Revelation 4:11

Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.
