He that has not the Holy Spirit cannot Love the brothers in Christ, have faith or please God. They walk according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.

They love darkness rather than light . The love of the Father is not in them. They love the world, they love the lust of the flesh, they love the lust of the eyes, and they love the pride of life. He that has not the Holy Spirit which gives a new heart and a new spirit to the natural man does not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, does not belong to Christ and is condemned. A person cannot believe the Gospel of Christ if he is not generated from above and given a new spirit and a new heart that causes him to pass from death to life because the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit because he is not able to understand spiritual things because spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The Natural man, a fallen spiritually dead descendant of Adam, thinks the Cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness. He does not believe it secured the salvation of anyone in and of itself. The natural man is able to follow doctrines of demons. Satan and his servants are able to change themselves into angels of light to deceive and distort and twist the truth. What is the Gospel of Christ?

God promises to save His people from their sins ( man’s will, or wicked spirits will not interfere) conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed perfect righteousness alone without any contributing effort or work from those He represented in His death and perfect life lived.

Salvation from regeneration to final glorification at His return is the work of God; alone. All of God, none of man. Jesus, as His promised people’s substitute in punishment and perfect life lived in thought word and deed, fulfilling the Law; satisfying God’s law and justice, receiving the punishment for His people’s sin while imputing His righteousness to them, made God just, justifier and savior. Then If you, being evil know to give good gifts ( a fish instead of a Scorpion) to your children, how much more will The Father, out of Heaven will give (the)Holy Spirit to the (ones) asking Him John 6:44, John 14:6

If you are doing good works because you are seeking to establish your own righteousness, trying to please men or God without understanding that you have no righteousness of your own and if you aren’t doing those works out of the Love for Jesus Christ and His Gospel to His glory; those works are viewed by God as nothing more than a filthy menstrual cloth.

God deals with the heart. God doesn’t just modify behavior without changing the heart. Just modifying behavior creates deception and encourages lying. He told the Pharisees( The respected religious leaders) you are clean on the outside; but dead on the inside.

They appeared outwardly to be beautiful; but within, full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. They had not yet been regenerated by God from above with a new spirit and heart unto belief of The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

They did not love God through Jesus Christ. They did not love believers in God through Jesus Christ.

They were seeking to establish their own righteousness and were not submitting to the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ

God commands all to repent and change their mind and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no other Savior of the world. Salvation is found in no one else. There is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. That name is not just a name; it is a name that describes and contains the attributes of the true God and true Jesus not the false god and the false Jesus.
