Scarlet and purple clothing. The Golden Cup of abominations. The Host shaped like a Sun. The ones responsible for the blood of the saints and the witnesses of Jesus Christ. Babylon the Great, The mother of all Harlots and of the abominations of the earth. The false religion and government of the Babylonian empire has filtered down into today’s false religion and governments who support her.

The first heathen cult of the Mother/Son relationship of Semiramis/Tammuz also started in The Babylonian Empire. It filtered down to influence the unbiblical elevating of Mary which affects her unbiblical relationship to Jesus.

The Mass is a blasphemous continual propitiation of what Christ already accomplished once and for all time for His people. His shed blood and broken body was sufficient at the Cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus said “It is finished”, (paid in full).

Jesus said at His last meal with His disciples “ Do this in remembrance of Me” The disciples and all who believe the Gospel were to remember what He had done for them. Nothing more was meant.

Luke 22:19

And taking a loaf, giving thanks, He broke, and gave to them, saying, This is My body being given for you. Do this for My remembrance.

Luke 22:20

And in the same way the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the New Covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.

1 Corinthians 11:24

and giving thanks, He broke and said, Take, eat; this is My body which is broken on behalf of you; this do in remembrance of Me.

1 Corinthians 11:25

In the same way the cup also, after supping, saying, This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink, do this in remembrance of Me. See Luke 22:19, 20

Your faith in the Gospel shows you have been saved by God through Jesus Christ conditioned on His atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone. Hebrews 10:10,14 John 19:30 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

Comment – The following 2nd commandment in Exodus 20:4 given by God was removed by Roman Catholicism to cover up their idol worship. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of God

You shall not make a graven image for yourself, or any likeness in the heavens above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth;

The True Gospel- God promises to save His people from their sins conditioned on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone without effort or work from those for whom He lived the perfect life. He was the perfect sacrifice for His children of Promise and His resurrection proved all His promised people will be saved. All His people Revelation 5:9, 7:9 will come to the knowledge of the truth sometime between conception and death through regeneration of the spirit realizing their salvation is conditioned on Him alone Matthew 1:21-23 Romans 4:3-8 Romans 3:24-26 Acts 20:28 John 10:15 John 6:35-65 2 Corinthians 4:6 Luke 18:13 Luke 23:42 John 10:26

Revelation 17:1-8

And one of the seven angels having the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying to me, Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot sitting on the many waters,

with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the ones inhabiting the earth became drunk from the wine of her fornication.

And he carried me away into a desert, by the Spirit. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, filled with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and being gilded with gold and precious stone and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominations and unclean things of her fornication.

And on her forehead was a name having been written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth.

And I saw the woman being drunk from the blood of the saints, and from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marveled, seeing her with a great marveling.

And the angel said to me, Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast supporting her, the one having the seven heads and the ten horns.

The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes to perdition. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, the ones whose names have not been written on the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, seeing the beast, that it was a thing, and is not, yet now is.
