Luke 11:13

Then if you being evil know to give good gifts to your children, how much more the Father out of Heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those asking Him.

The parallel verse ( In Matthew 7:9-11 says that the good gifts that a man gives to his children while being evil is Bread versus a Stone and A fish versus a Snake) 😂

Comment– Keep in mind the above verse when reading below. Ask yourself, do I understand the depth of my sin against God like the tax collector in

Luke 18:13–14

And standing at a distance, the tax collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner!

I say to you, this one went down to his house having been justified rather than that one. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted.

Ask yourself, has God predetermined from before the foundation of the world for you to ask Him for the Holy Spirit unto belief of the Gospel explained below or will you remain hardened against the truth hating the one true Sovereign God through the only savior Jesus Christ, God the Son incarnate, who predetermined all things before creation?

God is omniscient and cannot create anything without full knowledge. Ephesians 1:4-13, Romans 9, Romans 1, 2 Corinthians 4:6, John 6:35-65, John 10:15-18, John 5:21-29, Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 2,3 chapters Romans 8,10,11

Time is irrelevant to God’s self existence; but is a created process for us to express His glory and for Him to demonstrate His attributes; Love, Justice, Wrath, Power, Sovereignty and Mercy to His creation. He predetermined all things before creation. So, God does everything unconditionally in reference to his creation. He is not dependent on them; since He created all and predetermined all things prior to creation.

God created evil for a purpose and all things work together for good according to purpose to those that love God through Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 16:4

Jehovah has made all for His purpose, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Romans 8:28-30

But we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose;

because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers.

But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; but whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Revelation 4:11

Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

Romans 9:20-24

Yes, rather, O man, who are you answering against God? Shall the thing formed say to the One forming it , Why did You make me like this? Isa. 29:16

Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the one lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor? Jer. 18:6

But if God, desiring to show forth wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,

and that ( in order that) or ( so that) He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,

Romans 9:8,11

Comment– God created and made vessels of wrath fitted out by Him for destruction in order to show His unconditionally made vessels of mercy what He saved them from.

Jonah 2:9

but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will fulfill that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Jehovah!

Romans 8:28-39 Proverbs 16:4

2 Corinthians 4:1-7

Therefore, having this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not faint.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but by the revelation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.

But also if our gospel is being hidden, it has been hidden in those being lost

In whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

Comment

How does the false god of this age or this world blind the thoughts of those unbelieving the simple gospel of Jesus Christ that your sins have to be paid for solely conditioned on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness alone received by God worked John 6:29 and given faith; and the knowledge that you have no righteousness of your own because only the triune God is good which means if the Holy Spirit who is one person of the triune God is not dwelling in you, you cannot please God in any way shape or form; no matter how many cats you feed? 😂

By the works of the Law no flesh will be justified. Romans 3:20

You cannot provide a perfect righteousness to God to satisfy His Holiness, Righteousness and Justice to dwell with Him.

You need to receive a perfect substitute’s imputed righteousness at the same time you receive God given faith in this good news.

The purpose of the Law was to bring the knowledge of sin and drive His people to Jesus Christ asking for mercy Matthew 1:21-23

Isaiah 64:6, Jeremiah 13:23, Luke 18:19, Matthew 7:11, Romans 1, Romans 3:9-23, Psalms 14:1-4, Romans 4:6-8, Romans 8:8-39

Without the gift of God given faith in this gospel, it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;

not of works, that not anyone should boast;

for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

Romans 4:3-8

For what does the Scripture say? “And Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.” Gen. 15:6

Now to one working, the reward is not counted according to grace, but according to debt.

But to the one not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Even as also David says of the blessedness of the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works

Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

blessed the man to whom the Lord will in no way charge sin.” LXX-Psa. 31:1, 2; MT-Psa. 32:1, 2

Comment

You are still dead in sins and trespasses without heart felt knowledge and belief of the truth given by God through the work and person of the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:1-4

THE NATURAL MAN

Proverbs 12:10

The righteous knows the life of his animal, but the mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Isaiah 57:20

But the wicked are like the driven sea, which cannot be quiet, and its waves cast up mire and dirt.

Proverbs 15:8

The sacrifice of the wicked is a hateful thing to Jehovah, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Jeremiah 15:23

Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then you also may do good who are accustomed to doing evil.

Psalm 51:5

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.

Psalm 14:1-3

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they did hatefully in deeds; there is none doing good.

Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there were any discerning and seeking God:

they have all turned aside; together they have become filthy; there is none doing good; not even one!

Romans 8:8

And those being in the flesh are not able to please God.

John 3:19-20

And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil.

For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed.

John 8:34

Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin.

John 6:44

No one is able to come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

John 6:65

And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me except it is given to him from My Father.

Romans 9:16

So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One showing mercy, of God.

Comment- The unregenerate natural man has no ability to come to The True God through Jesus Christ and believe His gospel, ( The good news)

John 8:35

But the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever.

John 8:36

Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.

Comment – Only if Jesus sets you free from believing a false gospel that your salvation is conditioned on you to any degree; but solely on the work and person of Jesus Christ, will you show you have been saved by Grace, unmerited favor

Matthew 7:16-18

From their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

So every good tree produces good fruits, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruits

A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree produce good fruits.

Comment: The good tree is the Holy Spirit

You will not understand His words or effectually hear His voice without God giving you the Holy Spirit.

God’s sheep will effectually hear and understand His word, His voice. They will never follow a stranger spilling false doctrine from his mouth.

They will never follow or believe a doctrine that advocates that salvation is conditioned to any degree on the sinner.

That is the lie from the Serpent that started as bait to Eve in the Garden of Eden. “….You shall be like God knowing good and evil” Genesis 3:5

John 10

Ephesians 2:1-3 Ephesians 2:5-22

Did you hear that above? It is impossible to please God without faith while relying on your own self righteousness which is a filthy menstrual cloth according to scripture.

Your works without being motivated by the love of Jesus Christ and His Gospel through the work of the Holy Spirit are a generated smoke in God’s nostrils.Romans 8:8-9 Isaiah 65:5, Isaiah 64;6

So, the most cunning creature, the Serpent, called the Devil easily hides the truth and blinds the minds because you are spiritless; not able to comprehend or discern spiritual things.

1 Corinthians 1:18

1 Corinthians 2:14–15

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them , because they are spiritually discerned.

But the spiritual one discerns all things, but he is discerned by no one.

Comment

You are his child, The Devil’s, until born or generated from above unto belief of the Gospel from a new spirit from God; the beginning of a new creation.

The following scriptures in 2 Corinthians 5-7 tell us just that; while 1 Corinthians 2:14 explains in detail the spiritual condition of natural man who is not believing the truth because he is not able to believe the truth of Jesus Christ until God Sovereignly acts on him or her. John 3:8

2 Corinthians 4:5-7

For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus.

Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;

Question: What treasure in earthen vessels?

Answer: The Holy Spirit of God, The most cunning creature’s children, natural man, don’t have the spirit of God dwelling in them.

So, for him to blind his children is quite easy. They think the effectual cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness.

Matthew 11:27-30

All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him

Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, “and you will find rest to your souls.” Jer. 6:16

For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Comment– Please notice the revealing of the Father by Jesus Christ to His people ( The same people the Father gives to Jesus Christ to be saved in John 6:37-39) comes before those that come believing to Him to find rest in the Gospel that their sins are paid for; knowing that salvation is conditioned on Jesus Christ’s redeeming shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone; satisfying the justice of God making God a just God, a justifier and a savior through Jesus Christ. Isaiah 45:21

In John 3,3,8 and Romans 10:1-4 we see salvation is again in the hands of the Lord. God starts the process of making new creations in Jesus Christ and finishes His work in His people when He returns when they will become incapable of sin upon their bodily resurrection. All to the glory of God and without any glory to man. Revelation 4:11, Isaiah 43:7, Philippians 1:6, 2:13

Comment– the natural man hates that God is Sovereign; who chooses to have mercy on some and harden others against the simple (good news) of the gospel. Romans 9:19-20

God’s Sovereignty is the first and foremost attribute that you must respect. In the Garden of Eden, Eve was cunningly taken away by the serpent by not respecting God’s right to plant a tree that could cause death.

Today, the unbeliever of the truth would say “a loving God would never plant a tree that could cause death”

The outcome in the Garden of Eden proves you should trust God’s word above all and not listen to the children of the devil and their vain wisdom of this world which is ruled by the thinking and the doing of the Devil.

There are no righteous kingdoms of this world with its frame of reference.

1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

because all that which is in the world: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world is passing away, and its lust. But the one doing the will of God abides forever.

Comment– All sinful desires done under the sun without God are all in vain and worthless. We are hear to glorify God through Jesus Christ not to fulfill the sinful desires of our flesh and fulfill our empty, vain egotistical pride and arrogance. Ecclesiastes 1:14

Don’t you know that all gifts come from God and you have no reason to boast about anything because all that you have has been received by Him; good or bad. 1 Corinthians 4;7, James 1:17, Amos 3:6, Isaiah 45:7

All unbelievers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are being deceived by the most cunning of God’s creation’s, the Devil and his angels.

2 Corinthians 11:14-16

For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

Did not Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?

It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
