so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

Comment– The Greek meaning of “even” is below. It appears you are to honor the Son equal to the Father “ just as ( in direct proportion”, “to the degree that” you honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father. He that does not know the Son does not know the Father. The Son reveals the Father to whom He chooses. Matthew 11:27-30

Do you think the Son will reveal The Father to you if you don’t know who The Son is? You better know The Son and that He is “I AM” Exodus 3:14-15

You better understand The Son is also YHWH as well as The Father and the Holy Spirit. God is Spirit John 4:24.

1 John 2:23

Everyone denying the Son does not have the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father.

Comment– You must know and believe that The Son is also YHWH ( 2 Corinthians 4:6) If you do not believe The Son is I AM you will die in your sins. John 8:24

John 8:19

Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus answered, You neither know Me, nor My Father. If you had known Me, then you also would have known My Father.

John 8:49

Jesus answered, I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Comment– There are 2 persons that are YHWH– the self existent God – 1- standing on earth and 1- in the heavens. If you can read and are not spiritually blind, you will understand what you are reading.

John 1:18

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, the (One) being in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him . (KJ3) Jay P Green literal translation 2006-2010

Comment– Being in the bosom of the Father means the Son along with (being “ I AM” or YHWH) is also self existent

1510 eimí (the basic Greek verb which expresses being, i.e. “to be“) – am, is.  1510 (eimí), and its counterparts, (properly) convey “straight-forward” being (existence, i.e. without explicit limits). 

1510 /eimí (“is, am”) – in the present tense, indicative mood – can be time-inclusive (“omnitemporal,” like the Hebrew imperfect tense). Only the context indicates whether the present tense also has “timeless” implications. For example, 1510 (eimí) is aptly used in Christ’s great “I am” (ego eimi  . . . ) that also include His eternality (self-existent life) as our life, bread, light,” etc. See Jn 7:34, 8:58, etc.

Example: Jn 14:6: “I am (1510 /eimí) the way, the truth and the life.” Here 1510 (eimí) naturally accords with the fact Christ is eternal – maning “I am (was, will be).” The “I am formula (Gk egō eimi)” harks back to God’s only name, “Yahweh” (OT/3068, “the lord”) – meaning “He who always was, is, and will be.” Compare Jn 8:58 with Ex 3:14. See also Rev 4:8 and 2962 /kýrios (“Lord”)

Psalm 2:12

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were born, or ever You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You (are) God

Comment– In beginning was ( past tense) the Word and The Word was with God and the Word was God. All things ever created were created by Him. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

He was from everlasting to everlasting. He wasn’t given everlasting. He has no beginning. Honor the Son equal to the Father; they are both YHWH John 1:1-3,14,18 Genesis 19:24, John 5:23

God says He will not share His glory with any one. Therefore, Jesus Christ is I AM, YHWH, The eternal from everlasting to everlasting Son of God. John 17:5, Exodus 3:14-15, Acts 13:25, John 8:24 Isaiah 42:8, John 1:18

Psalm 106:48

Blessed (is) Jehovah YHWH God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen! Praise Jehovah YHWH

Comment – from everlasting even to everlasting means no beginning ( self existent) Man was created into everlasting existence not from everlasting to everlasting existence. See Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46
