Will Jesus reveal The Father to those that don’t know Him?

John 17:3

And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

Comment– You have everlasting life if you know the true God and Jesus Christ whom God sent.

John 8:19

Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus answered, You neither know Me, nor My Father. If you had known Me, then you also would have known My Father.

CommentJohn 8:19 gives confirmation that if you don’t know Jesus then you don’t know The Father. In other words you don’t know God. Jesus is God incarnate. John 1:14 18

Jesus does not reveal the father to anyone that does not know Him.

Only those The Father gives to Jesus to be saved will know Him, come to Him and believe into Him. John 6:47 5:24 Acts 13:48 John 6:36-65 John 3:26-27

These are the ones Jesus reveals the Father to because they are the ones given by the father to Jesus to be saved from their sins. John 6:37-39 Matthew 11:27

Jesus promises not to lose any that the Father gives Him because He always does the will of the father. Matthew 1:21-23 John 6:37-40

John 6:35-39

Jesus said to them, I am the Bread of life; the one coming to Me will not at all hunger, and the one believing into Me will never ever thirst. See Luke 16:24

But I said to you that you also have seen Me and did not believe.

All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out

For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.

Therefore, the Father had not given them to Jesus to be saved from their sins.

Consequently, they did not know Jesus which meant they did not know The Father as they believed they did. They were seeking to establish their own righteousness to gain favor with God and did not know or submit to the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.

It is the will of The Father that all that He gives to Jesus will believe the Gospel through God given faith that Jesus Christ’s work and person are the only grounds of salvation.

All others, not given by the Father to Jesus to be saved from their sins, have been unconditionally reprobated from before the foundation of the world, hated by God, who will remain dead in their sins and trespasses, hating the true God, remaining on their way to destruction; eternally separated from God.

Romans 1 Romans 9:11 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 Revelation 20:15

2 Thessalonians 2:13 Romans 10:1-4 Isaiah 43:11 Romans 3:26, Romans 3:20 Romans 3:10-12. Luke 18:13 John 6:29 Ephesians 2:8-10, Hebrews 11:6 Romans 3:23-25

John 10:33

The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.

Comment – They did not honor Jesus equal to The Father because they didn’t know Him. They weren’t given by The Father to Jesus in order to know Jesus through generation from above John 3:3-8, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Matthew 11:27-30

Therefore, Jesus never revealed the Father to them. Therefore, they didn’t know God. John 10:26

John 5:21

For even as the Father raises the dead, and gives life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wills.

Comment– Here we have Jesus giving life to whomever He wills.

The triune God, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are always in agreement as the One True God. John 16:13-15, Acts 5:3-5

John 5:22

For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,

John 5:23

so that all may honor the Son, even ( exactly) ( to the degree that) ( inasmuch) as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

Comment– You better know Jesus and believe His Gospel that salvation is conditioned on His atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone without any effort or work from His people that He represented in His life, death and resurrection.

You better know He is the self existent God, the Son; incarnate. You better know He efficaciously saves those who He came to save from their sins. No one can generate the righteousness or faith to save themselves.

Salvation is a free gift of God to His promised people taken from every nation, tribe, people and language received by God given faith. Jonah 2:9, Revelation 5:9 7:9, Matthew 1:21-23 Romans 8:8-9 Romans 3:10, John 10:7-18 John 10:27-28 Hebrews 9:22 Luke 19:10

He is God the Son incarnate who is self existing in the bosom of the self existent Father. He was the pre incarnate YHWH, The I AM that appeared in the old covenant period and the incarnate YHWH , The I AM in the new covenant era. Exodus 3:13-14. Genesis 19:24

Philippians 1:6, 2:1314

being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Jesus Christ;

for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

John the Baptist confirmed that Jesus was the I AM in Acts 13:25, Exodus 3:14-15

Acts 13:25

And as John fulfilled the course, he said, Whom do you suppose me to be? Not I AM , but, behold, “He comes after me, of whom I am not worthy to loosen the sandal of His feet.” John 1:27 (KJ3 literal translation Jay P Green 2006-2010)

John 1:18

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, being in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him . KJ3 literal translation

Comment– No finite one has seen the infinite God Spirit except The Son being in the self existent bosom of the Father declared Him to mankind

Matthew 7:21-23

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. ( See John 6:40 below and John 6:29)

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power?

And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; “depart from Me, those working lawlessness!” Psa. 6:8

John 6:40

And this is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:29

Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into Him whom that One sent.

Comment– It is the will of the Father that all He gives to Jesus will believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved. Those in Matthew 7:21-23 did not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ

The ones calling Jesus Lord, Jesus did not know Him. They tried bringing their works to Him as justification for them to be saved.

If Jesus would have known them, they would have known salvation was a free gift of God to whom He chooses to mercy, His people, conditioned on His work and person alone without effort or work from those for whom He lived the perfect life and shed his atoning blood. 1 Corinthians 12:1-3, Galatians 3:13, Romans 9:15,18, Romans 1:16-17, Galatians 4:9

Matthew 11:27

All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him .

Comment– Here we find again Jesus has to reveal God in order for them to know God; but only if the Father gives them to Jesus so they know Jesus, will Jesus reveal the Father.

Matthew 11:28

Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

Comment– Now, we discover the ones given by The Father John 6:37-39 that come to Jesus are burdened down with their sin like the Tax collector in Luke 18:13.

These are the people Jesus gives rest. His people know Him

2 Corinthians 4:6

Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

Knowing the true God is knowing Jesus Christ is the self existent Son of God; who created all things that have been created. In other words, He created all things that aren’t self existent.

Knowing Jesus Christ is knowing He had 2 natures God and man ( without sin).

Knowing Jesus Christ is knowing He is The Word was God and with God in beginning who created all things; who became flesh in order to glorify God and save His promised people.

Knowing Jesus Christ is knowing He is the only savior of all men taken from every nation, tribe, language and people known as His promised people; a salvation that only He could provide being God and Man.

His saving grace is a Salvation that was effectual and efficacious solely because of Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone; which was credited to His people’s account who cannot provide a righteousness to God that can satisfy His justice, righteousness, holiness and perfection; A salvation that is applied to His people through the means of God given faith

All His promised people fall short of the glory of God. They must have their sins covered and punished in order to be saved from their sins. They are hopelessly lost and headed for destruction without His substitutionary sacrifice and substitutionary perfect life lived. Romans 3:23, Romans 9:8, Psalm 110:3, Isaiah 53, Isaiah 61:10 1 Timothy 2:5

All His people will come to the knowledge of the truth sometime between conception and death and show they have been saved. They will know only God is good and their self righteousness is nothing but a menstrual cloth. Only by God’s gift of faith will they show to be justified. Luke 1:44 John 10:27 Mark 10:18, Isaiah 64:6 Romans 10:10-11 John 5:24 John 6:47

Question– Was John the Baptist regenerated by God in the womb of Elizabeth making him a new creation in Christ Jesus?

2 Corinthians 5:17, John 3:3

He leaped in the womb of his mother at the sound of Mary’s ( Mother of Jesus) greeting to Elizabeth. The babe in Elizabeth’s womb leaped and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:40-49

Knowing the One triune God is to know the God Spirit John 4:24, John 17:3

The Father chooses those John 6:35-65, Ephesians 1:4-11

The Son redeems and Romans 3:23-26

The Holy Spirit regenerates John 3:3 5 8 2 Corinthians 4:6 those the Father chooses and John 6:37 The Son redeems conditioned on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone. Romans 4:3-8 Ephesians 2:8-10 Romans 8:28-30 Revelation 5:9 7:9 Acts 20:28 Acts 13:48 John 2:19 Romans 8:11 Acts 2:24 John 16:13-15, Luke 23:41-42 Ephesians 1:4-11 John 6:63 – 65
