Revelation 3:14-20
And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicean, write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot.
16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth.
17 Because you say, I am a rich one, and I am made wealthy, and I have need of nothing, and do not know that you are the wretched one and miserable one and poor one and the blind one and the naked one.
18 I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 I, as many “as I love, I rebuke and I chasten.” Be zealous, then, and repent. Prov. 3:12
20 Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

It is commonly believed that The Son is standing at the Door of your heart waiting for you to open your heart to Him and let Him in. This is a common belief of the persons advocating “freewill”.
But, we know from scripture that God has control over the heart.
Proverbs 21:1
As streams of waters, the king’s heart is in the hand of Jehovah; He extends it wherever He desires.
Ezekiel 36:26
And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.
Psalm 110:3
Your people shall have willingnesses in the day of Your strength; in the majesties of holiness; from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.
Acts 16:14
And a certain woman, Lydia by name, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira, one worshiping God, heard us, whose heart the Lord opened thoroughly to pay atten- tion to the things being spoken by Paul.

The Door that Jesus is standing in front of and knocking on is the Door that leads into the gathering of the assembly of professing believers.
Some assemblies of professing believers are a mixture of those that believe the Gospel, the unregenerate elect, who will believe the Gospel at sometime in their life and also those that really don’t believe The True Gospel and never will believe because they are reprobates. 1 John 2:19, 2 Peter 2:1, Matthew 13:19-23, Romans 9:11
Since, overall, the works of the assembly in Laodician were neither hot or cold but lukewarm, He was going to rebuke and chasten; the ones He loves.
He stands at the door of the assembly and knocks. The ones in the assembly that he loves, will hear His voice. The sheep that he is rebuking and chastening about their lukewarm works will open the door of the assembly to Him because they hear His voice and will never follow a stranger. John 3:3-8
John 6:37
All who the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not ever,
John 10:4-5
And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes on in front of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
But they will not follow a stranger, not ever! But they will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of a stranger.
John 10:11
I am the Good Shepherd! The Good
Shepherd lays down His life on behalf of the sheep.
John 10:29
29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
John 6:39
And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.

God loves and hates unconditionally as shown in Romans 9:11,13,15,16-23 He knows exactly what he is creating before creation comes into existence. He is not dependent on what man does or who he is. God causes and is in control of all things. God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent and all things were predestinated and predetermined from before the foundation of the world for God’s glory.
Romans 11:36
36 Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
Today, if you hear his voice harden not your heart. Hebrews 3:8,15, 4:7, Psalm 95:8 .
Matthew’s 11:27-30
27 All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.
28 Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, “and you will find rest to your souls.” Jer. 6:16
30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
John 8:32
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
John 8:36
Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
John 14:6
Jesus says to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father if not through Me.

That eliminates all doctrine that does not include The True Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ; particularly the false Jesus Christ that died for everyone which forces God to wait for them to do their part “(freewill)”for anyone to be saved; which means the work of Christ on the cross accomplished nothing in and of itself. According to scripture, The Natural Man cannot accept the things of the spirit because he is not able to spiritually discern or understand spiritual things and will not come to Jesus Christ unless it is given to him by the Father 1 Corinthians 2:14, John 3:3-8, John 10, John 6:65
The True Jesus you have to go through to get to the Father is the one described below in the paragraph on the True Gospel that Sovereignly is in control of all things because He is the Word was God and with God that created all things and became flesh and walked among us. He saves and does not lose any of All that the Father gives to Him and He gives them eternal life. Nothing can separate them from the love of God; not even themselves John 6:37-44, Romans 8:38, John 1:1-3,14,18
Romans 9:11,13,15,16-23
for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling
13 even as it has been written, “I loved Jacob, but I hated Esau.” Mal. 1:2, 3
15 For He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I pity.” Ex. 33:19
16 So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One having mercy, of God.
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very thing I raised you up, so that I might show forth My power in you, and so that My name might be publicized in all the earth.” Ex. 9:16
18 So, then, to whom He wills, He shows mercy; but to whom He wills, He hardens.
19 You will then say to me, Why does He yet find fault? For who has resisted His will?
20 Nay, rather, O man, who are you, the one answering back to God? Shall the thing formed say to the One forming it, Why did You make me like this? Isa. 29:16
21 Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor?
Jeremiah 18:6
22 But if God, desiring to display wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,
23 and that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory
The Gospel : The atoning shed blood and imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ demands and ensures all of salvation from regeneration to final glory for all whom Jesus Christ represented and that salvation is by the work of Jesus Christ alone without any effort or contribution from the sinner..
Mark 16:16
The one believing and being baptized will be saved; but the one not believing will be condemned.
Comment
All that The Father gives to The Son come from everywhere believing into Him for salvation. The ones called out by God are the ones Jesus Christ bought with His shed blood from every nation, even tribes and peoples and languages.
Acts 20:28
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the assembly of God which He purchased through His own blood.
Revelation 7:9
After these things I saw, and behold, a large multitude which no one was able to number them, out of every nation, even tribes and peoples and languages, standing in front of the throne, and be- fore the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and in their hands palm branches.
