All who the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not ever,
38 for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

1 Corinthians 2;14
But a natural man (Adam’s spiritually dead descendants) (John 8:44) (Genesis 2:17) does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 1:18
18 For the Word of the cross is foolishness to the ones perishing, but to us (The Children of Promise) being saved it is the power of God
The Cross of Christ in general is foolishness to a Natural Man; but also, in terms of it being effectual, meaning, payment for sin was actually accomplished without any contribution or effort from those persons He represented, The unconditionally chosen Children of Promise from before the foundation of the world. The Father chooses, The Son redeems (who The Father chooses)The effectual Cross of Christ and His imputed Righteousness), The Spirit regenerates ( whom the Father chooses and The Son redeems). Matthew 1:21 Romans 9:8 John 3:3-8 John 6:37-44 Ephesians 1:4
Why would the omniscient Lord of Glory pay for the sins of some that end up in Hell? He wouldn’t then be a just God and a Savior because he would send people to Hell for whom the sins were paid.
If He actually died effectually for no one and had to wait for a response from the sinner, then salvation would no longer be a gift; but one of debt, through the work or effort of the sinner; but we know from John 6:65 that no one comes to Jesus unless it is given to him by The Father. So, if it was up to Natural Man, Jesus could have been waiting forever and consequently could have died for no one.
Matthew 11:27
All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.
