Knowing The True God And Jesus Christ Whom He Sent Means You Have Eternal Life

John 17:2-3

2 Even as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that to all which You gave to Him, He may give to them everlasting life.

Jesus says in the above verse John 17:2 in accordance with John 6-37-44 that all The Father gives to Him He will give Eternal Life and He will not lose any of them; but will raise them in the last day.

3 And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the One whom You sent.

Jesus says above in John 17: 3 that KNOWING The only true God and Jesus Christ, the One whom He sent, means you have eternal life and that you have passed from Death to Life John 5:24

In 2 Corinthians 4:6 God shines into the heart of the ones The Father gives to Jesus the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ

In John 3:3, 5, 8 we see this shining into the heart by the Father which gives the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ is described as being generated from above.

So, we can safely conclude that after this generation happens from above, you will know The True God and Jesus Christ whom He sent and be in agreement with The attributes of God depicted in the scriptures or the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing; hearing by the Word of God and it is impossible to please God without Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ Romans 10:17 Hebrews 11:6

In John 10:14 Jesus says I am The Good Shepherd and I know the (ones) that (are) Mine and I am known by the (ones) (that are)Mine. In John 10:15 Jesus says even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father and I lay down My life on behalf of the sheep.

In Summary: Jesus lays down His life for the ones the Father has given Him. The Father generates from above in His people a new spirit and a new heart bringing the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ so they will KNOW The only true God and Jesus Christ , (the one) whom He sent. He knows His sheep and He is known by His sheep. His sheep can now hear His voice and they are able to follow Him. John 10:27 Ezekiel 36:26

If God has shined into your heart the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, will you still believe that God has 2 mutually exclusive attributes; and can you trust that you know Him if you believe that He has 2 mutually exclusive attributes and therefore, can you still trust you have eternal life?

Can the same God condition salvation on the work and person of Jesus Christ alone by Grace and then turn around and also condition salvation on the effort of the sinner because God himself is helpless because He can’t interfere with the sinner’s “Free Will” even though the sinner has no desire or ability to come to Him?

Not according to scripture. God is not a weak God who cannot save; who went to the cross that accomplished nothing in and of itself nor is He a God who will share His glory with an idol, Natural man.

The Natural man, if he believes in the “ Free Will” god that cannot save like in Isaiah 45:21 , or agrees with someone who does, then he does not know the True God and Jesus Christ whom He sent.

A Natural man’s thoughts are blinded by the god of this age ( The frame of reference of this world’s thoughts and behavior or fallen nature) because he is spiritually dead and void of the spirit and Satan is the ruler behind this world’s frame of reference which is contrary to God’s Word.

Free Will was spawned in the Garden of Eden by The Serpent’s lies “ Dying you shall not die” and “ You will be like God” Knowing Good and Evil” The Natural Man a descendant of Adam as a result of Adam eating from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil became spiritually dead because God said “ Dying you shall die” and The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ

The natural man cannot discern or understand spiritual things because they are spiritually discerned. God from above sovereignly has to generate in a person a new heart and a new spirit. He has to make the person a new creation in Christ Jesus. John 3:3,5,8 Romans 6:23

Jesus said All who The Father gives to Me shall come to Me and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not (ever). It is the Will of The Father that He give eternal life to all those He has given Him and that He will not lose (any) of it but shall raise it up in the last day John 6:37-44

Jesus Christ is the only Savior. Man’s “Free Will” isn’t going to save him because he has no desire to come to the True God and come to The One whom The Father has sent; Jesus Christ, he is spiritually dead.

1 Corinthians 2:14 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 Isaiah 48:11 2 John 9-11 Genesis 3:4-5

John 6:65 1 Corinthians 2:14 John 3:19 Romans 3:10-12 Psalms 14:1-3 John 3:27

Isaiah 45:21

Declare and bring near; yea, let them consult together. Who has heard this of old; who has told it from then? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is not a god besides, except Me, a just God and a Savior; there is not one except Me.

Isaiah 45:20

Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, fugitives of the nations; the ones who set up the wood of their carved image, and the ones who pray to a god who does not save; they know nothing.

Can someone know The True God and Jesus Christ whom He sent, when he prays to a God who cannot save? I would have to say definitely not.

Can someone know The True God and Jesus Christ whom He sent if he thinks it is ok for some others to pray to or believe in a God that cannot save? I would say absolutely not because he would be sharing in their evil deeds. 2 John 9-11

Will The True God shine into the hearts of His people the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of the “Free Will” God, a God who cannot save, in the face of Jesus Christ?

I would say definitely not; The universal atonement god who died for everyone without exception cannot save. That knowledge would never be given by the True God and the One whom he sent to His people whom the Father gave to Jesus.

Since The “Free Will” God cannot interfere with man’s freedom to choose to believe the Gospel of Christ or not believe the Gospel of Christ, then anyone praying to that “Free WillGod would be praying to a God that cannot save; and consequently, anyone speaking peace to those people that do pray to a God that cannot save, show themselves both to be sharing in evil deeds. These people that agree with this false doctrine need to change their minds. 2 John 9-11 Matthew 11:27-30

God is the only Savior and salvation from regeneration to glorification is conditioned solely on Jesus Christs atoning shed blood and Jesus Christ’s imputed (charged or credited)righteousness to His people without any contribution or effort from the sinner. God will not share His glory with any idol, “Free Will” God. God shows mercy to whom He chooses to mercy and hardens whom He wills. The Father gives to The Son whom he wills and The Son reveals The Father to whom he wills and The Spirit regenerates who the Father chooses and The Son redeems. God promises to save His people and no one and no thing will interfere and keep Him from accomplishing His will. That is the God of the Bible Romans 9:15,16,18 Matthew 1:21
