John 3:5 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God. KJ3 The Water of the Word??? The Spirit of God????
Ephesians 5:26 …that He might sanctify her, cleansing it by the bathing of the water in the Word,
Since the blind cannot see the light and understand with the heart, God must shine the light….

2 Corinthians 4:6
Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” the One who shone in our hearts to give the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
YHWH said “Dying you shall die” Genesis 2:17
The Serpent said “ Dying you shall not die” ….“You shall become like God knowing Good and Evil” Genesis 3:4-5
Does The Serpent mean you will know by nature both Good and Evil; so you can choose? Which nature would take precedence? Would The Serpent mean you have freedom or Free Will to choose between 2 natures of good and evil? That doesn’t sound logical. Nature is Nature. Which nature would dominate and how would that occur?
We know that all fall short of the glory of God and only God is good; So, does that mean Natural Man actually became evil by nature after eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?? Romans 3:23 Luke 18:19
I don’t think becoming evil by nature was the bait The Serpent was giving Eve.
I think, The Serpent was insinuating they would gain power through having the knowledge of good and evil making them like God.
I doubt the Serpent was telling them that they actually had already experienced good while in the protective custody of God and then would gain the knowledge of evil by becoming Evil by nature after eating the fruit; which would cause them to become spiritually dead and cause them to run from The True Sovereign Lord and fall short of the glory of God.
We do see the same delusion of trying to become like God in Isaiah 14:12-15 Ezekiel 28:11-18
Does Natural Man now think He has the freedom or “Free Will” on his own to choose the True God and believe The Truth. We read in John 14:6 what that truth is in what Jesus said “I AM The Way and The Truth and The Life no man comes unto the Father but by Me”; which means no one gets to God but by Him; believing the Gospel that God promises to save His people conditioned on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone without any effort or work from those chosen from before the foundation of the world
Did eating the fruit give Natural man the delusion of having that ability? After all wasn’t the Serpent offering freedom from God by telling them they would become like God knowing good and evil?
Does Natural Man really believe he has the ability to respond to the True God and His Gospel?
Did Satan actually become Natural Man’s delusional father; since there is no good dwelling in him? John 8:44 Luke 18:19 Matthew 7:11
Jehovah said “Dying you shall die” Didn’t we all become liars by nature before generation from above with a new spirit and heart towards the true God ?
Aren’t we all in the process of physically dying? Is that good or evil?
Did anyone become righteous after eating the fruit? No
The Serpent lied because we all became like him, void of God’s spirit and evil by nature.
The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Romans 6:23
Comment
Satan and his fallen angels have no opportunity for eternal life through Jesus Christ.
If we really had the freedom or Free Will to choose and weren’t spiritually dead, wouldn’t at least one person been able to use their freedom or Free Will successfully and not become a liar and know The True Biblical Sovereign Lord God and the One whom He sent, Jesus Christ, on his own.
Believers in the Gospel of Christ know their helpless unrighteousness and know Jesus Christ’s sinlessness in thought, word and deed and they know that Jesus had been given the spirit without measure because He was The Word was God became flesh. Do they know because God has generated in them a new heart and spirit ??? John 3,3,5,8 Romans 6:20 John 3:34 John 1:1-3,14
Scripture says the love of The Father is not in them. Does that mean the spirit of Christ is not in them???
1 John 2:15-16
15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
16 because everything in the world: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
Romans 8:9
9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, this one is not His.
What does The God breathed scriptures say?
Romans 3:10-12
according as it is written, “There is not a righteous one, not even one!”
11 “There is not one understanding, there is not one seeking God.”
12 All turned aside; together they became worthless, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!”
Psalm 14:1-3
1 ¶ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The foolish one has said in his heart, No God! They acted corruptly; they did abominably in deeds; Not one is doing good.
2 Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there was one considering and seeking God:
3 all have turned aside; together they are corrupt; not one is doing good, not even one!
John 6:44
No one is able to come to Me if not the Father, the One having sent Me, draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day
John 6:65
And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me if it is not given to him from My Father.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the Word of the cross is foolishness to the ones perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God.
I Corinthians 2:14
But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
John 3:3, 5, 7, 8
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.
Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
7 Do not wonder because I said to you, You must be generated from above.
8 The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been generated from the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:6
Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” the One who shone in our hearts to give the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16
Matthew 11:27-30
27 All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.
28 Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, “and you will find rest to your souls.” Jer. 6:16
30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
John 8:31, 32, 34, 36
Then Jesus said to the Jews having believed into Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin.
Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
John 3:36
36 The one believing into ( that salvation comes conditioned on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His perfect imputed righteousness alone without any effort or work from those He represented. This is the Gospel and in The Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed in Jesus Christ Romans 1:16-17 Romans 3 & 4) the Son has (has been generated by the spirit unto belief of the Gospel of Christ John 3:3-8) everlasting life; but the one disobeying ( not submitting to belief into) the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
The justified by Jesus Christ shall live by faith in the one that bought them
The World (by) wisdom did not know God
1 Corinthians 1:21
21 For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing.
Salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9)
Belief is the work of God
John 6:29
29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into
Him whom that One sent.
