Deuteronomy 29:4

Yet Jehovah (YHWH) has not given to you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until this day.

CommentYHWH gives a heart, eyes and ears to understand and know The Truth. Jesus said He was The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

John 8:34-36

Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin.

But the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever.

Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.

Matthew 13:16

But your eyes are blessed because they see; and your ears because they hear.

Comment– Blessed ( Gifted) (Happy) are eyes that see and ears that hear that are given by YHWH

Ezekiel 36:26-27

And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. See Luke 11:13, Matthew 7:11

And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them .

2 Timothy 3:16

Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

John 10:4

And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes in front of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. See John 3:3,8

John 10:5

But they never follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of the strangers.

John 10:27

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. See Matthew 1:21-23, Acts 20:28, Romans 4:6-8, Matthew 13:16

Romans 3:10-20

according as it has been written, “There is none righteous, not one!”

There is none that understands, there is “not one that seeks after God.

All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!” LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3

Their throat is an opened grave;” “they used deceit with their tongues; the poison of asps is under their lips;

whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.

Their feet are swift to shed blood;

ruin and misery are in their way;

and they did not know a way of peace;

there is no fear of God before their eyes.” LXX-Psa. 5:10; 139:4; 9:28; Isa. 59:7, 8; Psa. 35:2; MT-Psa. 14:1 -3; 5:9; 140:3; 10:7; Isa. 59:7, 8; Psa. 36:1

But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.

Because by works of law not one of all flesh will be justified before Him, for through law is full knowledge of sin. Psa. 143:2

John 10:26

But you do not believe for you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

John 6:65

And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me except it is given to him from My Father.

Matthew 11:27-30

All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him .

Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, “and you will find rest to your souls.” Jer. 6:16

For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

CommentThe revealing of the Father by the Son is directly related to the people given to Him by the Father to be saved. Those people alone are the ones that come burdened down with their sins against God; asking for mercy.

Romans 8:2833

But we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose;

because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers.

But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; but whom He justified, these He also glorified.

What then shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not freely give us all things with Him?

Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? God is the One justifying!

2 Thessalonians 2:13

But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth,

John 6:37-39, Luke 18:13, Luke23:39-43

1 Corinthians 2:14-15

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them , because they are spiritually discerned.

But the spiritual one discerns all things, but he is discerned by no one.

Comment– the ones God spiritually awakens are not understood or discerned by the natural man because the natural man is dead spiritually in sins and trespasses. Ephesians 2:1-5

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost ( perishing), but to us being saved, it is the power of God.

Comment– The Natural Man, being lost or perishing, who thinks the Cross of Christ is foolishness, is the same person that needs birth, a new heart, a new spirit from God above unto belief of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Those in the flesh are not able to please God. They hate the biblical God. They worship the creation instead of the creator.

They are those who do not believe Jesus Christ supplied the only conditions for His people’s salvation conditioned solely on His atoning shed blood and His imputed perfect righteousness alone; received by God given faith.

His people, out of love, because He first loved them, will strive to keep His commandments of loving the true God through Jesus Christ, God incarnate and their neighbor as thyself.

Romans 8:8-9, Hebrews 11:6, Ephesians 2:8-10 John 14:15-31, 1 John 4:19, Isaiah 53:5,11

1 Corinthians 1:19

For it has been written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the understanding ones.” Isa. 29:14

1 Corinthians 1:21

For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing.

1 Corinthians 1:27

But God chose the foolish things of the world that the wise might be put to shame, and God chose the weak things of the world so that He might put to shame the strong things.

1 Corinthians 1:28

And God chose the low-born of the world, and the despised, and the things that are not, so that He might bring to nothing the things that are,

Ezekiel 18:21-23

But the wicked, if he will turn from all his sins which he has done, and keep all My statutes, and do justice and righteousness, surely he shall live; he shall not die.

All his transgressions that he has done, they shall not be mentioned to him in his righteousness which he has done; he shall live.

Delighting, do I delight in the death of the wicked? declares the Lord Jehovah. Is it not that he should turn from his ways and live?

CommentRomans 9- says God endures with much long suffering vessels of wrath fitted out for destruction in order that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory.

God hates sin ( the fruit) that leads to death Romans 7:5 because He is holy and righteous; but at the same time He commands people to turn or repent or change their minds.

He is the one that gives repentance according to 2 Timothy 2:25

So, He must be commanding those who refuse to repent and turn to Him in faith in order to justly damn them.

God says He is the one that gives a new heart and a new spirit. God is the one that gives a change of mind generated from a new heart and a new spirit given to His children that He promised to save. Matthew 1:21-23, Romans 6:20-21

Psalm 135:6

Every thing which Jehovah (YHWH) was pleased to do, He did, in the heavens and in the earth; and in the seas and all deep places.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:7

Do not wonder because I told you, You must receive birth from above.

John 3:8

The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who has received birth from the Spirit (John 5:21)

Philippians 1:6 and 2:13

being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Jesus Christ;

for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

John 6:47

Truly, truly, I say to you, the one believing into Me has everlasting life.

Comment– His people know and believe that salvation from their sins is conditioned solely on Jesus Christ’s atoning shed blood and His imputed righteousness alone and that salvation is not conditioned in any way on His people because they cannot provide a righteousness to satisfy God’s justice, holiness and righteousness.

His people know that they have no righteousness of their own and only God is good. See Luke 18:10-14, Matthew 19:17 Isaiah 64:6

They know He will have mercy on whom He wills and that He will harden whom He wills.

They come to Him looking for mercy because Jesus Christ provides the only conditions for salvation that satisfy God.

1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

because all that which is in the world: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world is passing away, and its lust. But the one doing the will of God abides forever.

Matthew 1:21-23, Revelation 5:9,7:9, Acts 20:28, John 6:35-39-65 Romans 9:15,18, Romans 4:3-8, Isaiah 45:24, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 6:29, Ephesians 2:8-10, Ephesians 1:4,11

Acts 13:48

And hearing, the nations rejoiced and glorified the Word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

Comment– His people taken from every nation, even tribes, languages and peoples have an appointment to eternal life conditioned on Jesus Christ alone; consummated through God given faith in the Gospel.

God promises to save His people from their sins conditioned solely on the work and person of Jesus Christ received by God worked and God given faith.

His people were unconditionally chosen from before the foundation of the world according to God’s purpose and according to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:4-11, Revelation 5:9,7:9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 9:11, 9:8, John 6:29, Ephesians 2;8-10

John 17:3

And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

See Titus 2:13 – His people look forward to the appearing of the glory of our great God and savior, Jesus Christ.

He is fully God and fully man.

Titus 2:13

looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

John 6:37-39

All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out.

For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.

Comment– The Father Gives to Jesus His people to be saved. The Son saves and raises up in the last day those given by the Father. The Holy Spirit regenerates with a new spirit that brings a new heart to those given by The Father and saved by the Son.

Matthew 15:13

But answering, He said, Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Because it is God who said, “Out of darkness Light shall shine,” who shone in our hearts to give the brightness ( illumination) of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

Romans 2:29

but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

2 Corinthians 5:17

So that if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

Deuteronomy 10:16-17

And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and you shall not harden your neck any more.

For Jehovah (YHWH) your God, He is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords; the great, the mighty, the fearful God who does not lift up faces, nor take a bribe.

And Jehovah (YHWH) your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

Exodus 3:14-15

And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, you shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Jehovah the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

Genesis 19:24

And Jehovah (YHWH) rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from Jehovah ( YHWH) out of the heavens

Comment– Since John 1:18 says only the Son has declared God who is in the eternal self existent bosom of Father.

Consequently, The YHWH standing on earth in Genesis 19:24 must be the pre-incarnate Son of God; since He is the only one who revealed God. Only the Son of the triune God has been seen by mankind.

John 8:19

Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus answered, You neither know Me, nor My Father. If you had known Me, then you also would have known My Father.

John 5:23

so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

Comment– Will the Son reveal the Father to the ones that don’t know the Son and that He is the self existent God incarnate; the only savior of the world? Absolutely not. Those that know the Son are the only ones that know The Father. If you don’t honor the Son equal to the Father, you don’t know the Son and consequently you are still dead in your sins.

John 8:24

Therefore, I said to you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.

Acts 13:25

And as John fulfilled the course, he said, Whom do you suppose me to be? Not I AM , but, behold, “He comes after me, of whom I am not worthy to loosen the sandal of His feet.” John 1:27 (KJ3 literal translation Jay P Green)

Proverbs 16:9

A man’s heart plans his way, but Jehovah ( YHWH) fixes his step.

Proverbs 21:1

As streams of waters, the king’s heart is in the hand of Jehovah; He turns it wherever He desires.

Luke 18:10

Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector.

Luke 18:11

The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

Luke 18:12

I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get.

Luke 18:13

And standing at a distance, the tax collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner!

Comment ( The Tax Collector knows and realizes he has sinned against a Holy and Righteous God). 2 Corinthians 4:6

Luke 18:14

I say to you, this one went down to his house having been justified, rather than that one. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted.

2 Timothy 2:24-25

But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,

in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth,

Romans 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek;

for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, “But the just shall live by” “faith.” Hab. 2:4

Romans 10:1-4

Brothers, truly my heart’s pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is for it to be saved.

For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge.

For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

For Christ is the end of law for righteousness to everyone that believes.

Comment– The Apostle Paul was praying to God for the salvation of his kinsmen after the flesh; not after the spirit.

He was once like them; unsaved. He knew God has to give them a heart to know and believe the gospel in order for them to be saved.

They were ignorant of the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ and consequently, they were trying to establish their own righteousness for their salvation out of self righteous spiritually dead works which by the works of the law no flesh will be justified.

Exodus 4:21

And Jehovah said to Moses, As you go to return to Egypt, see all the wonders which I have put in your hand, and do them before Pharaoh. And I will harden his heart, and he will not send the people away.

Romans 9:17

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very thing I raised you up, so that I might show forth My power in you, and so that My name might be publicized in all the earth.” Ex. 9:16

CommentYHWH raised up Pharaoh to demonstrate His wrath and make His power known in order to show the riches of His glory to His people that are vessels of mercy.

YHWH commanded Pharaoh through Moses to let the Israelites go; but yet YHWH hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that he would not let the Israelites go in order to justly bring the plagues against Egypt for His 2- fold purpose. All this was to demonstrate His attributes to the vessels of wrath and His vessels of mercy prepared beforehand for glory. All was done for God’s glory and the benefit of His unconditionally elect children of promise.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:7

If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you do know Him, and have seen Him.

John 10:15

Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Galatians 4;9

But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew?

John 10:14

I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine.

Romans 9:22-24

But if God, desiring to show forth wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,

and that ( in order that) He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,

whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations.

Exodus 5:2

And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah that I should listen to His voice to send away Israel? I do not know Jehovah, and I also will not send Israel away.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3

Deuteronomy 30:6

You are our letter, having been inscribed in our hearts, being known and being read by all men,

it having been made plain that you are Christ’s letter, served by us, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.

1 Corinthians 2:8-9

which none of the rulers of this age has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

according as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard,” nor has it risen up into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love Him. Isa. 64:4

Exodus 4:21

And Jehovah said to Moses, As you go to return to Egypt, see all the wonders which I have put in your hand, and do them before Pharaoh. And I will harden his heart, and he will not send the people away.

Comment – God wants to show His wrath and make His power known. God desired to bring the plagues on Egypt to show wrath and power on vessels fitted out ( by Him) to show the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy prepared beforehand for glory- See Romans 9:22-24

Revelation 17:17

For God gave ( put) (delivered) into their hearts to do His mind, and to act in one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Comment– God controls all things and predetermined all things before creation. Isaiah 46:10

Acts 2:23

this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you having taken by lawless hands, having crucified Him , you put Him to death.

Revelation 4:11

Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

Romans 11:36

Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Colossians 1:16

For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him.
