God’s Word Interprets God’s Word

Look at the parallel in 2 different books of the Bible hundreds or thousands of years apart. The parallel is in the word “light”

Isaiah 8:20

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them (KJV)

John 8:12

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. The (one) following Me will in no way walk in the darkness, not ( ever) but will have the light of life

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, being ( self existent) in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him .

Matthew 1:21-23

And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

And all this happened so that might be fulfilled that spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

“Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel” (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14.
